Six ultras arrested from Hotel at Gosaigaon in lower Asom
Kokrajhar, Dec 27 (UNI) Six ultras, including three United Liberation Font of Asom (ULFA) cadres, were arrested from a hotel at Gosaigaon town in Lower Asom in early today.
Official sources here said based on a tip off, the Red Horn division of the Army raided Ranjit Hotel in the town in the wee hours hours today and nabbed six youth including three ULFA members.
One kg of brown sugar, costing about Rs 1.30 crore in the International market was also seized from the arrested youth.
However, there was no use of force or cross firing during the raid, the sources said.
While ULFA cadres were identified as Sumi Ram Rava, Budhadev Rava and Rupa Rava, the other three youths suspected to be from NDFB, are identified as Monu Basumatari, Sagar Basumatari and Sintu Musahari, sources added.
