Qatar Airways relocates sales office in Delhi

New Delhi, Dec 27 (UNI) Qatar Airways today relocated its sales and marketing office from South Delhi to the hub of business centre, Connaught Place, aiming at servicing the airline's corporate and travel trade customers better.

''The office in Delhi is the first of many that we plan to open to strengthen our presence across the country,'' airline Chief Executive Officer Akbar Al Baker said.

''With the addition of Ahmedabad and Chennai in its destinations, the airline plans to effectively increase frequency to and from India by more than 60 per cent from 30 to 49 a week,'' a statement issued here said.

Qatar Airways' Area Manager (India) Naveen Chawla said, ''We are delighted to increase the number of our flights from India s per the Indian government's policy of limited open skies and are hopeful that this will further increase in the coming years.'' UNI SRS DKS RK2011
