India offers lot to offer to bring peace in the world: Ravishankar

Bangalore, Dec 27(UNI) The Founder of the Art of Loving Foundation Sri Ravishankar Guruji has called for bring to an end to both Naxalism and Communalism in the country which is threatening the peace and the spirit of brotherhood in the society.

Delivering the inagural address at the 4-day 51st National Convention of the Junior Chamber International being held here tonight the Pontiff has said that instead of hatred and violence the love and compassion should need to be spread in the society.

The Art of Loving Foundation chief also said that the spirit of enthusiasm among people should always active as it only take them to achieve the goals in their life. The glory of spirituality in the country has lot to offer to the world which was threatened by disunity and violence, he said.

Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader and former union minister Mr Venkaiah Naidh who also spoke on the occasion has said that country is in the process of re inventing itself its glory and hence all the world looking towards to it now. He said ever since the national economy was opened up the opportunities of floodgates were opened.

The Boys and girls from India can be seen everywhere in the world.

However Mr Naidu regretted that in the process of development of the country the gap between Rural and Urban regions is alarmingly widening and needs to be bridged it. He said over 220,000 villages in the country were deprived of good roads and lacks basic amneties which is not good sign and needs to be set it right, he said. uni mv rkn2314
