Guj Govt to set up private Trade Centre in Gandhinagar

Gandhinagar, Dec 27 (UNI) With a view to reckoning Gujarat as global business centre on the international scenario, Gujarat Government today decided to set up a privately run Vibrant Gujarat Trade Centre (VGTC) in the state capital here.

The decision to set up private VGBC centre was taken by the Gujarat Cabinet during its customary weekly meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Narendra Modi here.

Talking to reporter jointly Urban Development Minister I K Jadeja and Finance Minister Saurabh Patel said, ''The Gujarat Cabinet took the decision to set up the VGTC centre to meet the demands of the trades and industries of Gujarat to make a giant stride at the international level''.

''The Centre would set up soon, at vast land plot in sector-11 of the Capital, where the Gujarat Government is aiming to provide facilities to set up head offices for the business and trade houses running their projects in other parts of the state,'' said the ministers duo.

This VGTC would be completely run by private party while the Government would act as an catalectic agent, the ministers said.
