Great Offshore takes delivery of Malaviya Twenty Eight

New Delhi, Dec 27: Great Offshore Ltd today said it took delivery of a newly built anchor handling tug supply vessel named 'Malaviya Twenty Eight'.

With the delivery of Malaviya Twenty Eight, the company's fleet strength now stands at 39 offshore vessels including two exploratory rigs, 25 offshore support vessels, 11 harbour tugs and a construction barge.

Great Offshore Ltd, the new company born after the de-merger of Great Eastern Shipping's offshore business, earlier said it will incur 500 million dollars for acquisition of newly built nine product tankers, apart from offshore assets, such as rigs, for its offshore subsidiary.
