Delhi's Rashid fires 70 for sole lead at Sunfeast All India Golf

Bangalore, Dec 27 (UNI) Delhi's Rashid Khan returned a card of one-under 70 to take a commanding lead in Category A on the second day at the Sunfeast All India Junior/Sub Junior Golf Championship here today.

On a day of tough playing conditions, Chandigarh's Rahul Bakshi also fired 70 to join Udayan Mane in joint second place at 150.

Mane shot 74 while Divyanshu Bajaj returned 76 to finish fourth at 151.

Meanwhile, overnight leader Rommel Mazumdar fired a six-over 77 to lead the field in Category B at 151.

Chikkarangappa, who shot 75, was placed second at 157 while Raghav Bhandari occupied the third place at 160. Khalin Joshi was a stroke behind at 161.

Category C witnessed Viraat Badhwar shoot a round of 76 to share the lead with Ashbeer Saini at 154, while in the juniormost D category, which teed off today, Vidit Singh shot an 81 to assume the sole lead with Akash Srinivaan trailing him by three strokes. Piyush Sangwan was in third place at 88.
