Chouhan announces reservation bonanza for women
Guna, MP, Dec 27 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today announced 50 per cent reservation on the seats for contractual teachers and 10 per cent in the police department for women.
''My government has decided that every girl who scores good marks in the high school examination in her village, will be accorded the status of 'Gaon ki Beti' and granted several facilities,'' he said while addressing farmers' meeting at Bamori in this district.
The Chief Minister also said Bamori would be given tehsil status after the delimitation commission's work was completed.
