Armed youths loot Rs 4.74 lakh from State Bank of Patiala

Bathinda, Dec 27 (UNI) Four youths, armed with revolvers, looted Rs 4.74 lakh from the village Kot Fatta branch of State Bank of Patiala this morning.

According to sources, the youths came to the bank in a car and after locking the staff and customers in a room, escaped with the money.

Check posts were immediately set up at different locations in the district when the matter was reported to the police.

Senior police officials, including the SSP, rushed to the spot to supervise the investigations.
