SSS demands 27 per cent reservation in govt job for muslims
Jamshedpur,Dec 26 (UNI) Secular Social Organisation (SSS) today demanded implementation of Sachchar Committee report in Jharkhand and 27 per cent reservation for the under priveleged muslims in government jobs and educational institutions.
Hundreds of SSS activists, led by its national president Nasar Firdausi, demonstrated before the East Singhbhum deputy commissioner office for thier demands.
SSS also submitted a memorandum to Jharkhand governor Syed Sibtey Razi through the DC N M Kulkarni.
Apart from reservations, SSS also demanded to form Urdu Academy and Haj House, Corporation for minority welfare, Finance Corporation and Madrasa Board for the muslims of the state.
