SHOs suspended in Diggy convoy case

Ujjain, MP, Dec 26 (UNI) Taking a serious view of All India Congress Committee General Secretary and former Madhya Pradesh chief minister Digvijay Singh's convoy being halted yesterday while he was en route to a function here, the state government today suspended two station house officers (SHOs).

Mr Singh enjoys Z-plus security cover.

''Dewas Gate SHO R R Malviya and his Kotwali counterpart B L Swarnkar were suspended for carelessness,'' said Inspector-General (Ujjain Range) Anil Kumar.
