Precious metals rise on better buying support
Mumbai, Dec 26 (UNI) Both the Precious metals rose on better buying support with Silver going up by Rs 145 per kg and Gold by Rs 20 per ten gm on the Bombay Bullion Exchange today.
Silver fineness opened high at Rs 19,300 per kg on higher demand.
Later, it closed at Rs 19,335 per kg with a gain of Rs 145 per kg from yesterday's close.
In London, the white metal was quoted at 12.65.77 per troy ounce against USD 12.60/12.65 per troy ounce in New York.
Similarly, standard Gold (99.5) and pure Gold (99.9) opened high at Rs 9,050 and Rs 9,100 per ten gm respectively on good demand, The yellow metal closed slightly higher at Rs 9,055 and Rs 9105 per ten grams respectvely with a hike of Rs 20 and Rs 25 respectively from its last close.
In London, the yellow metal was at USD 620.104.10 per troy ounce as compared to USD 6204.00 per troy ounce in New York on Saturday.
