PM, Sonia pay homage to S D Sharma on 7th death Anniv

New Delhi, Dec 26 (UNI) Prime Minister Mammohan Singh and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi today led the nation in paying tributes to former President Shanker Dayal Sharma on his seventh death anniversary.

Host of other dignitaries, including Union Minister of state for Parliamentary Affairs Suresh Pachuri and Madhya Pradesh Minister Narottam Mishra, also paid tributes at an all religion prayer meeting at Karma Bhumi here.

The Sharma family, including the late president's wife Vimala Sharma, also attended the prayer meeting.
