Nikkei average slips as Toyota falls

TOKYO, Dec 26 (Reuters) The Nikkei share average slipped 0.13 percent at the start of trade on Tuesday as investors sold shares of Toyota Motor Corp. and other companies that have booked strong gains in recent sessions.

The Nikkei was down 14.67 points at 17,078.22 as of 0004 GMT.

The broader TOPIX index was down 0.22 percent at 1,661.33.
