West Midnapore, Dec 26 (UNI) Police today recovered two landmines from different places of the district in West Bengal and recovered incriminating documents that suggested a Maoist hand in it.
Police sources said a landmine has been recovered by the Lalgarh police from Jhitka forest in the early hours.
Local people informed the police after noticing wires running through the forest. Police forces rushed to the area and bomb disposal squad cordoned off the area.
