IndusInd Bank gets RBI nod to open more branches

Mumbai, Dec 26 (UNI) IndusInd Bank today announced that it had received a nod from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to open 19 more branches across the country.

This is in addition to 21 licences it had got earlier in the current financial year. The bank had already opened seven branches all over the country. With this, the total number of branches has reached 147, the bank said in a statement.

After the announcement, IndusInd Bank's scrip rose 2.14 per cent to Rs 42.95. As many as 2,13,117 shares changed hands at the counter in Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), the release added.
