Arrangements on for conducting MC elections: Collector

Rajahmundry, Dec 26 (UNI) All arrangements are being made for the smooth conduct of Muncipal Corporation (MC) elections here, East Godavari District Collector M Subramanyam said today.

Talking to reporters, after a meeting with returning and assistant returning officers at the Sub-Collectors Office here, he said the list of polling stations would be announced tomorrow.

He said notification for the elections would be issued during January first week.

Electronic Voting Machines would be used in the elections and the counting would be held at SKR Women College.

District Superintendent of Police B Srinivasulu said all security arrangements would be made in each polling stations.
