TDP to analyse Telangana issue : Naidu

Hyderabad, Dec 25 (UNI) The opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) President N Chandrababu Naidu today announced that the party would analyse the recent political developments in the state in the wake of Telangana sentiment.

Talking to newspersons here, Mr Naidu said 'the TDP would indepth study the separate Telangana issue and take an appropriate decision keeping in view the changing political situation in the state'.

Alleging that the Congress had changed its stand on Telangana after it came to power, he said the TDP would chalkout a strategy on issue.' The TDP was for United Andhra and against separation of Telangana. But the TDP leaders belonging to the Telangana region were mounting pressure on the party high command to constitute a separate party executive, after the TRS President and former Union Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao won the Karimnagar Lok Sabha seat in the recent byelection with a thumping majority, he added.
