Several wounded in road accidents in Kashmir
Srinagar, Dec 25 (UNI) Several people were wounded in separate road accidents across the Kashmir valley today, police said.
Two vehicles collided head on near here in which five people, including a family of four members, were wounded.
The injured have been identified as Mushtaq Ahmad Chulu, Prem Sagar, his wife and their two children. They have been shifted to a hospital here, police added.
Police said a recovery vehicle hit a motorcyclist, Reyaz Ahmad Rather at Palpora, Safapora in Baramulla district.
In another incident, a Tata Sumo hit and injured a woman, Raja, at Awantipora on the Srinagar-Jammu national highway. She has been hospitalised.
A motocyclist, Ishfaq Ahmad Bhat, was wounded when his vehicle collided with an auto rickshaw at Kurhama, Ganderbal. He was immediately rushed to the Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Soura here for treatment.
The Shaheed Gunj police station today recovered the body of an unidentified woman, aged about 62-63 years, from the house of Mohammad Ashraf Kawoosa at Shala Kadal near here in suspicious condition, police said.
