Police arrest accused in Neeraj murder case
Allahabad, Dec 25 (UNI) Police today arrested Natthu Kol, who was allegedly involved in the kidnapping and murder of city's prominent businessman Neeraj Agrawal.
The accused was carrying an award of Rs 5000 on his head. One 315 bore country made pistol, two live cartridges, Neeraj's watch and Rs 12,240, was recovered from him.
Neeraj, an engineering graduate involved in road construction business here, was abducted on November 11 from the district's Ghoorpur area. Later, his body was recovered from a forest in Chitrakoot, about 100 km from here.
Police had already killed three people in encounter, who were involved in Neeraj's murder.
Meanwhile, police claimed an estranged business partner of Neeraj's family had hired the abductors to eliminate him.
