Five killed, seven injured in road mishap

Malappuram, Dec 25 (UNI) Five teenagers were killed and seven injured when the jeep in which they were travelling collided with a bus at Kottappuram in this district today.

Police said the jeep coming to Ayikarappady from Mongam hit the bus coming from Kozhikode killing Naseem, Mohammed Shameer and Rahim (all aged 18), Shuhaib(15) and Shafeeq(13) on the spot.

The injured were admitted to the Medical College Hospital in Kozhikode.
