DCA, Panchkula register win in Dhruv Pandove tournament

Patiala, Dec 25 (UNI) DCA Panchkula scored a sensational victory against Yadavindra Public School, Patiala, in the sixth Dhruv Pandove Memorial Cricket Tournament (Under-14) at the YPS ground here today.

Batting first, YPS were all out for 114 in 35 overs.

Harkirat was the only batsman who played with confidence, scoring 34 runs in style. Shivam Bhambri took 3 for 22 and P Nanda captured 2 wickets, conceding 22 runs.

In reply, DCA, Panchkula scored 115 without losing a wicket in just 12 overs. Ankush Dhaliwal scored a masterly unbeaten 61, while Shivam Bhambri was 36 not out. This was YPS's second consecutive defeat.

In another match, Black Elephant Cricket Club, Patiala, defeated DMW, Patiala, by 26 runs. Batting first, Black Elephant Cricket Club scored 136 for 4 in the allotted 35 overs. Kohinoor Kalia played a breezy innings of 74. Shivam Goyal scored 24 . For DMW, Bhupinder Singh took 3 for 32.

In reply, DMW scored 110 for 8 in 35 overs. Anmolpreet Singh scored 22. For Black Elephant Cricket Club, Ajay Bharti captured 4 wickets, giving away 24 runs and Bhupinder Plawat took 2 for 28.
