Police rescue three girls, arrest three

Vijayawada, Dec 24 (UNI) The city police today arrested three persons and rescued three girls, who were brought for flesh trade promising jobs.

Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) L Vijaya Kumar told newspersons here that the trio D Govindamma, Vijaya Lakshmi and Shaik Rafi had lured the girls by promising them jobs and better life in Chennai.

The accused would be produced before the city court tomorrow, he added.
