Hooda pays tributes to Ms Bhinder at bhog ceremony

Gurdaspur, Dec 24 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today paid rich tributes to former Rajya Sabha member, the late Ms Sukhbans Kaur Binder, who passed away last week.

Addressing a large gathering on the occasion of the 'bhog' ceremony and Antim Ardas held in memory of the departed Congress leader, Mr Hooda said that she had left an indelible imprint on the minds of the party workers by sheer dint of hard work and dedication.

While recalling his association with Ms Bhinder and her family, the Chief Minister said that she had a great regard for party workers and was committed towards them with utmost sincerity and dedication.

He said that she remained fully committed towards the development of Punjab, especially Gurdaspur.

On this occasion, the Urban Employment and Poverty Alleviation Minister, Ms Selja, President, Punjab Congress Party, Mr Shamsher Singh Dullo, Union Minister of State for Industries, Mr Ashwani Kumar, also paid tributes to the departed soul.
