Ahmadinejad says UN resolution a "piece of torn paper"

TEHRAN, Dec 24 (Reuters) Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad today rejected a U N sanctions resolution as ''a piece of torn paper'' which would not scare the Iranians into stopping nuclear work, the semi-official Fars news agency reported.

''It is a piece of torn paper ... by which they aim to scare Iranians ... It is in the Westerners' interests to live with a nuclear Iran,'' Ahmadinejad said.
