2 history-sheeters killed in encounter
Chitrakoot, Dec 24 (UNI) Two main accused in a Congress leader murder case were gunned down in an encounter in Chitrakoot district of Uttar Pradesh today.
Superintendent of Police N Ravindra said when police intercepted some notorious criminals, they tried to flew the coop into Satna district of Madhya Pradesh, adjoining Uttar Pradesh.
Police chased the miscreants and shot dead two accused, identified as Naseem and Manju, who were wanted in connection with the killing of Congress leader Mithilesh Karveela.
The cops also managed to nab their two aides. On being frisked, three illegal arms were recovered from them, Mr Ravindra added.
Acting on their information, police seized the rope used in the murder of the Congress leader.
