Two killed, 30 injured in fog-related road accidents

Hisar, Dec 23 (UNI) Two people were killed and thirty injured in separate road accidents due to poor visibility caused by dense fog in Hisar district of Haryana early this morning.

A woman, Santaro, died on the spot and three men were injured when a bus hit an auto-rickshaw in Kharar Alipur in the district.

In village Sarheda, Rajendra, a resident of Matloda village was crushed to death by a heavy vehicle.

In Hansi's Hanuman colony, a woman was seriously injured when it was hit by a motorcycle. A young couple received severe injuries in village Hindvan when their scooter collided with a car.

Ten paasengers of a jeep were injured when their vehicle was hit by a truck on National Highway 10 near village Garhi. The driver of the jeep was reported to be in critical condition. The police was trying to trace the truck driver who absconded after deserting the vehicle on the accident site.
