Rs 1 Lakh reward on LeT militant
Jammu, Dec 23 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir police today announced Rs one lakh reward on the head of ''most wanted'' Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) militant Mohammad Ashraf, active in Doda and Udhampur districts of the state.
People have been appealed to help the security forces in nabbing the militant by providing prompt information about him, police sources told UNI.
''Ashraf, who is active for the last three years, is on the top of the most wanted list in police records'' sources said.
Police have displayed the posters of Ashraf -- announcing the reward of Rs 1 lakh -- in doda town, bhaderwah, kishtwar, ramban and gool areas.
Ashraf hails from Akramabad village near Doda town and had been actively involved in dozens of crimes in the region.
