Respite from cold in Rajasthan
Jaipur, Dec 23 (UNI) People in Rajasthan today received some respite from cold wave due to the rise in temperature following a cloud cover.
However, many places in the state witnessed a fall in temperature.
The cold relented as the cloud cover intensified with western disturbances. Sriganganagar was the coldest in the state today recording 5.6 degree Celsius.
According to weather department, Sriganganagar, Churu, Bikaner recorded a fall of 2 degree. Churu, usually the coldest place in the state for the past few days, recorded 6.2 degree Celsius, Pilani in Jhunjhunu district recorded 6.3, Bikaner 7.9 and Jaipur 8.1 degree Celsius.
Bundi, Barmer, Jaisalmer and Dabok, Udaipur recorded 10 degree Celsius, Jhalawar 11.2, Ajmer 11.8, Kota 12.6 and Jodhpur 13.5 degree Celsius.
Dry weather is likely to persist in the state for the next 24 hours and Jaipur would have a clear sky.
