Quake rocks Andaman

Port Blair, Dec 22 (UNI) A quake of moderate intensity jolted Andaman and Nicobar islands late tonight.

Initial report from Andaman Police Control Room said there is no report of any casualty or damage.

According to Police Control Room, the initial reading of the quake is 6.0 on the Richter scale.

However, the confirmed magnitude has not yet been received from the MET office.

Panic-stricken islanders ran out of their homes after the quake.
