Police arrest 11 in realtor's kidnap case
Hyderabad, Dec 23 (UNI) Acting swiftly, police today arrested 11 persons in connection with the kidnap of a realtor from his farm house in the Shamshabad Area on the outskirts of the city and were looking for more suspects.
According to police here, about 40 persons alleged to be the followers of an MLA went to the house of Syed Mohd Ahmed, a realtor and an advocate and bundled him into a car.
He was allegedly brought to the new MLA quarters in the Bashirbagh area of the city.
The victim's brother-in-law Nawab Mir Mahaboob Alam Alam Kjhan immediately complained to the Shamshabad Police who acted quickly and arrested 11 persons today.
The victim, who was released by his abductors, told the police he was forced to sign a sale deed of his properties. He said he was taken to Quarter No 168 of the New MLA Quarters in the Bashir Bagh Area of the city.
The MLA, the allottee of the quarters, however denied he was involved in the incident.
Police said they were investigating about the involvement of the MLA as one Pradeep Reddy, the master-mind of behind kidnap, was closely related to him.
