National Power Systems Conference to kick off on Dec 26

Dehra Dun, Dec 23 (UNI) Eminent power system experts from the US, Canada, Australia and India will deliver speeches on key issues at the four-day National Power Systems Conference(NPSC 2006), which will get underway on December 26.

The Conference will be organised by the Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, on the IIT premises.

The speakers at the conference will discuss issues related to present and future trends in power systems.

According to a release, around 250 delegates from various parts of the country will participate in the conference, whose main theme will be 'Distribution Reforms for Growth of the Indian Power Sector'.
