Lt Governor visits helipad site at Ouppalam

Puducherry, Dec 23 (UNI) Puducherry Lt Governor Mukut Mithi today visited Ouppalam where a helipad was being laid to facilitate landing of the aircraft of Vice-President was on.

He also reviewed the security arrangements being made for the visit of Vice-President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat.

The Lt Governor asked the PWD officials to speed up the construction work.

Mr Shekawat will pay a two-day visit here from December 30.

During his stay, he would deliver the convocation address at the Pondicherry University and also participate in other functions.
