Haryana to build restaurants at tourist places

Chandigarh, Dec 23 (UNI) The Haryana government is setting up restaurants at its tourist places in order to provide eatables at reasonable rates to the visiting tourists and also to increase the revenue of the Tourist Department.

This was stated by Minister of State for Forests and Tourism Kiran Choudhry while inaugurating a new restaurant built at Ch.

Surinder Singh Memorial Mini Zoo at Bhiwani.

She said the Haryana government had taken several significant steps to promote the places of tourist attraction.

Restaurants of excellence and welcome ambience were being set up at the tourist centres and mini zoos so as to provide high quality eatables not only to the people of the state but also to the foreign tourists.

Parks were also being developed in these tourist centres for the people visiting these places, especially the children.

Ms Choudhry directed the officers of the Forest Department to keep high quality items at reasonable rates in the newly opened restaurant so that the people and children did not face any difficulty.

She also instructed them to make the arrangement of pure drinking water in the zoo.
