Haryana appints RTI appellate authorities

Chandigarh, Dec 23 (UNI) The Haryana Economic and Statistical Department has appointed O.P. Dhankar, Additional Economic and Statistical Adviser-II as First Appellate Authority and S.C.L Datta, Deputy Economic and Statistical Advisor as State Public Information Officer at the Headquarters in compliance with the Right to Information Act.

A spokesman of the Department said earlier the Department had appointed V.K. Gupta, Joint Economic and Statistical Advisor as State Public Information Officer of the department and the District Statistical Officer/Planning Officer had been appointed as Assistance Public Information Officers of their respective districts.

Now, as per the minor amendment of the earlier orders, S.C.L Datta had been appointed as State Public Information Officer.

However, the orders of Assistance Public Information Officer would be same, he added.
