Governor greets people of Nagaland on eve of Christmas

Kohima, Dec 23 (UNI) Extending Christmas and New Year greetings to the people, Nagaland Governor Shyamal Datta has called upon people to end hostility.

In his greetings last evening, Mr Datta said,''We are enjoying the eternal mercy of God and should put an end to the hostility among the Naga brothers. However, Catholicism preach and practice tolerance and acceptance of different views and ways of life.'' The Governor said, ''Let the celebrations of 2006 Christmas mark the beginning of quest for peace.
