Five persons arrested in a murder case in city

Hyderabad, Dec 23 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh police today unraveled the mystery behind the murder of S Venkatesh, who was hacked to death by unknown persons on December 15, with the arrest of five accused.

According to a press release here, police arrested five persons and produced before a city court for their judicial remand. Two persons R Srinivasulu and N Venkatesulu were arrested on Decemeber 22. Based on their confession, the other three accused were taken into custoy and seized a vehicle which was used in the murder of the electrician.

Mr Venkatesh was murdered when he was eating snacks at a wayside push cart at Mallapur in the city.
