DK voluteers stage demo in Puducherry

Puducherry, Dec 23 (UNI) Volunteers of the Periyar Dravidar Kazhagam today held a demonstration on the Cuddalore road at Ariyankuppam near here to press their demands.

They were demanding, among other things, withdrawal of licence given for setting up five star hotel and entertainment park in fertile lands here, shifting the coast guard headquarters to another place from Kakayanthoppu and to shelve the port development project.
