Cong wants apology from TRS for trying to attack Rosaiah

Hyderabad, Dec 23: AICC member Rudraraju Padma Raju today demanded an apology from TRS MLAs T Harish Rao and Nayani Narasimha Reddy for trying to 'physically attack' Finance and Legislative Affairs Minister K Rosaiah in the state Assembly yesterday.

In a statement here, Mr Padma Raju said when TRS members 'unnecessarily' created chaos in the Assembly on certain remarks of Panchayat Raj Minister J C Diwakar Reddy, the septuagenarian leader Rosaiah tried to bring the House to order as it was his duty. He condemned the 'abusive language' used by TRS Legislators and attempt to 'physically attack' a leader with four decades legislative experience, who was respected by everyone across party affiliations.

Calling upon TRS Chief K Chandrasekhara Rao to severely repremand his followers and ensure such incidents did not recur, Mr Padma Raju said TRS members should learn the rules and procedures of the House.
