BJP a party without an agenda: Amar Singh
Lucknow, Dec 23: Close on the heels of the BJP claiming that Ram temple issue was still close to its heart, the ruling Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh today termed the BJP as an outfit without agenda.
SP general secretary and UP Development Council chairman Amar Singh said here the BJP had no agenda and was driven by 'avsarwad' (opportunism).
''It is well known that BJP is driven by opportunities and nothing else,'' Mr Singh told reporters after attending a function at a girls' college.
Giving a message to party workers that the temple issue was still alive, BJP president Rajnath Singh today dared Congress and the SP to construct a mosque at the disputed site.
''The parties had announced to construct Babri mosque at the disputed site...now the BJP challenges them to do so,'' he asserted amidst applause by BJP members present at Saraswati Shishu Mandir, where the party's national council is underway.
