UP: Arjun Munda injured in road accident

Lucknow, Dec 23: Former Jharkhand Chief Minister and senior BJP leader Arjun Munda was injured in a road accident in Unnao district of Uttar Pradesh today.

The leader, who received minor injuries, was on way to attend the BJP national executive meet here.

According to police, the accident occurred between Soramau and Ajgain area between Lucknow and Kanpur, when the car in which Mr Munda and two others were travelling, rammed into a truck.

Later, Mr Munda and his aides, who also received minor injuries, left for the party's programme.
