451 stones removed out of patient's kidney

Kolhapur, Dec 23 (UNI) In a successfull surgery, at least 451 stones were removed from a patient's kidney at the Chhatrapati Pramil Raje (CPR) Civil Hospital here.

''The doctors carried out kidney surgery on patient Dinkar Bapur Jagdale from Ambavade village in Panhala tehsil of the district on December 21,'' civil surgeon Dr Vilas Yadav said today.

''In the two-hour surgery, doctors removed different-sized stones from the patient's kidney, using telescope,'' the doctor added.

He said doctors had earlier removed 143 stones from a patient's kidney.
