2 hideouts of ultras busted

Jammu, Dec 23 (UNI) Security forces, in a joint operation with local police, have destroyed two hideouts of the militants in Kishtwar and Surankote tehsils of Doda and Poonch districts of Jammu and Kashmir.

Security forces busted a hideout of the Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) in Bhalan forest area of Kishtwar tehsil in Doda yesterday and recovered a 12 bore gun with 12 cartridges, two UBGL grenades, 39 AK rounds, four gelatin sticks, four detonators and five safety fuses.

The other hideout was smashed by the two teams at Khani Khori in Morha Bachai, Surankote. Recoveries include two Chinese grenades, 23 AK rounds, three AK magazines, one bottle containing glucose and two pairs of combat army fatigues.
