1,168 pirated CDs seized in South Delhi

New Delhi, Dec 23 (UNI) With the arrest of two shopkeepers, police have busted a gang involved in supply and sale of pirated CDs and seized 1,168 pirated CDs of movies from South Delhi.

Bablu Gupta and Salim Khan were arrested after a raid on their shops yesterday in Sharma Market of Prahaladpur area.

An authorised representative of the Indian Music Industry (IMI) had filed a complaint against Gupta for selling pirated MP3, DVD and CDs.

The seized goods included 32 pornographic CDs.

Further investigations are in progress.
