UP gets slight relief from cold

Lucknow, Dec 22 (UNI) People in Uttar Pradesh got some respite from chilly winds today as temperature in some parts of the state slightly increased.

According to the Met department, night temperatures remained above normal in Bareilly, Jhansi, Varanasi, Faizabad, Allahabad, Kanpur, Gorakhpur, Lucknow and Agra divisions.

Agra recorded 10 degrees Celsius, two degrees above normal.

Slight rains might occur at a few places in the next 24 hours, the met department said.
