Hyderabad, Dec 22 (UNI) TRS MLA Padma Devender Reddy today said she was ill-treated by the lady marshals while she, along with her party members, were removed from the House today.

Talking to newspersons at the Speaker's chamber, where the TRS members were staging a dharna protesting against their suspension, Ms Reddy said the behaviour of the lady marshals was totally undemocratic and unbearable.

She said Panchayat Raj Minister J C Diwakar Reddy had hurt the feelings of the entire Telangana people by his remarks.

She alleged that the government, instead of making its Minister tender an apology, had made TRS member Harish Rao to express apology.

Ms Reddy said the Congress could win seats in the Telangana region only through the support of the TRS.

She said the people of the region would teach the Congress a befitting lesson in future. The party meeting in Nalgonda today would expose the mis-deeds of the Congress.

TRS floor leader G Vijaya Rama Rao alleged that TRS members were sent out of the House as the Congress did not want their presence during a debate on the Pothireddypadu Project.

He said his party had succeeded in getting a clear assurance from the government on the implementation of the recommendations of the Girglani Commission.
