Three drown in canoe capsize

Machilipatnam, Dec 22: Three people drowned when their canoe capsized in a major fish tank at Share Mohmedpeta in Krishna district early today.

Police said the three were sitting in the canoe guarding the tank at night to curb fish pilferage when the mishap occurred.

While two bodies were recovered, a search was on for the other.
