Saifuddin Soz welcomes PM's statement on Pakistan

New Delhi, Dec 22 (UNI) Union Minister for Water Resources Saifuddin Soz has welcomed Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's statement on the need to sort out all outstanding issues with Pakistan.

''I characterise the Prime Minister's statement as a bold and adequate response to the ideas that were expressed by President General Pervez Musharraf recently,'' said Mr Soz, who is an MP from Jammu and Kashmir.

''I also feel that the Prime Minister's statement has paved the way for a meaningful and decisive dialogue between the two countries for resolution of all pending issues,'' he said in a statement.
