Rs 1200 Cr for Youth welfare in 11th five-year plan

Patna, Dec 22 (UNI) A fund of Rs 1200 crore has been proposed to be spent for youth welfare during 11th five-year-plan period, according Director general of Nehru Yuva Kendra, Dr Shakeel Ahmad Khan.

He announced this while attedning a function of 'Yuva Kirti', a three-day exhibition of rural art, craft and cargo products.

Referring to the domestic market flooded with Chinese goods, he said, if "Our youths go for self-emloyment and channelise their creativity and establish their own small scale and cottage industries, competition from from products could be effectively challenged.'' UNI XC-RS PC RN1537
