Ramdev invites Ramadoss to his yoga camp
New Delhi, Dec 22 (UNI) Yoga guru Ramdev today invited Union Health Minister Anbumani Ramadoss to his camp in response to a notice by the latter.
The Minister had slapped notice on Ramdev to stop making claims that he could cure AIDS and cancer through yoga.
Adressing mediapersons here, Ramdev said though there was no need to reply to the notice, not within ambit of the law in question, ''but I have invited him.'' He said he had never asked any patient to stop taking allopathic medicines.
''Yoga helps and it can be best answered by the patients practising it showing signs of recovery.'' ''Pranayam and yoga have indeed cured many of cancer. It also helps the AIDs patient recover faster,'' he added.
He said Mahatama Gandhi's wish of making ayurveda national treatment system continues to be a distant dream and urged for end to apathy and ignorance of yoga, ayurveda, the indigenous health science.
