Precious metals ease further on bearish global advices

Mumbai, Dec 22 (UNI) Both the Precious metals eased further on bearish global advices with Silver down by Rs 55 per kg and Gold by Rs 40 per ten gm on the Bombay Bullion Exchange today.

Silver fineness opened low at Rs 19,015 per kg on sluggish demand. Later, it improved and closed at Rs 19,100 per kg with a loss of Rs 55 per kg from yesterday's close.

In London, the white metal was quoted low at USD 12.45/12.50 per troy ounce against USD 12.50/12.56 per troy ounce in New York.

Similarly, standard Gold (99.5) and pure Gold (99.9) also opened weak at Rs 8,985 and Rs 9,035 per ten gm respectively on thin buying support.

The yellow metal closed at its opening level with a loss of Rs 40 each from its last close.

In London, the yellow metal eased at USD 615.10/620.00 per troy ounce as compared to USD 620.10/622.00 per troy ounce at New York on thursday.
